The team is tasked with holding a daily meeting with negotiators, which will be broadcast live on big screens in Le Bourget to ensure transparency. France has also set an unofficial taskforce to deal with a number of issues, mainly on support for poor countries to mitigate climate change as well as their demands for a higher rate of carbon emissions than those of rich countries to ensure their economic growth targets can be met.
