(VOVWORLD) - The Health Ministry and Vinh Long province inaugurated a COVID-19 intensive care center in Vinh Long province.

The center, under the management of the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital, will have 200 beds to treat severe COVID-19 patients in the Mekong River Delta.
At present, the first floor with 60 beds has been put into operation. The center will fully operate with 200 beds later this month.
The National Children’s Hospital has sent 21 doctors and medical staff to work at the new center.
