(VOVWORLD) - According to worldometers.info, as of Monday morning, there had been 50.7 million COVID-19 infections worldwide and more than 1.2 million have died from the disease.

The US remains the world’s epicenter with more than 10 million COVID-19 infections and 237,000 deaths, one-fifth of the world’s total deaths.
India has recorded 126,000 deaths and more than 8.5 million infections.
