(VOVworld) – A Cuban magazine on Latin America and the third world called Resumen Latinoamericano has published a special 12-page edition honoring President Ho Chi Minh on his 125th birthday (May 19th). Titled “Ho Chi Minh: The poet who defeated three empires”, the edition compiled articles by veteran writers who have close links with Vietnam. They highlighted Uncle Ho’s political and military thoughts, strategic vision, and wisdom in helping Vietnam gain reunification and independence. His lessons are still relevant today, the magazine suggests.

The article included in full the text of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament and 6 poems in Spanish taken from his “Prison Dairy” collection.
The magazine is also published in Venezuela, Uruguay, Argentina, and Spain.
