(VOVWORLD) - Cuc Phuong National Park, a renowned tourist attraction in Ninh Binh province, has recently been honored "Asia's Leading National Park" at the World Travel Award for the 5th consecutive year.

The park is set to be honored at the 30th World Travel Award (WTA) Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony, which will be held on September 6th in Ho Chi Minh City.
Cuc Phuong represents the country's first national park and is one of the largest nature reserves in the country. The area's fauna and flora diversity, its natural beauty, and its numerous cultural and historical features make it an attractive destination for tourists to enjoy.
Covering an area of 22,200 hectares, the park is nestled against Tam Diep mountain. The park is home to approximately 2,000 plant species and 2,600 animal species, many of which are listed in the Red Book of Vietnam and the world. It is also recognized as one of the seven centers of great plant diversity in Vietnam.
On average, the tourist destination welcomes over 10,000 visitors annually, with the majority of them being foreigners.
Cuc Phuong National Park has earned the title of "Asia's Leading National Park" in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, making it a must-visit place for nature lovers.
