(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has signed the National Cultural Diplomacy Strategy till 2020 and a vision to 2030.

One task of Vietnam's cultural diplomacy is to promote Vietnamese culture to the world.

The strategy shows that cultural diplomacy is vital to promoting Vietnam’s culture to the world, improving Vietnam’s position in the international arena, and facilitating Vietnam’s global integration.The strategy’s objective for 2020 is to build a national co-ordination mechanism on cultural exchanges. From 2030, Vietnam aims to deepen cultural ties with countries in South America, the Middle East, and Africa.
