Czech car maker defines Vietnam as its most promising Southeast Asian market

(VOVWORLD) - Czech automobile manufacturer Skoda Auto has defined Vietnam as a promising market in Southeast Asia, its representative said. Skoda is planning a factory in Quang Ninh province and will start manufacturing and exporting cars next year.

During a visit to Skoda Auto in Mladá Boleslav city, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Thai Xuan Dung applauded its upscale and development after a two-year stagnation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. He said that Skoda’s resilience has contributed to pushing ahead the Czech-Vietnam economic relations.
A joint venture between Skoda and its Vietnamese partners will lift the bilateral traditional relations to a new height, Dung said.
