Czech media: Vietnamese PM’s visit creates momentum for future cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - Czech media has highlighted the significance of the official visit to the Czech Republic by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc which concluded on Thursday.

The Czech Parliament’s website said that the visit indicates fruitful political ties and will help boost cooperation between the two countries.
The website of the Czech Communist Party said Vietnam is a successful development model and the country’s position is rising in the world arena.
Meanwhile, news website eurozpravy.cz reported that Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš supports the establishment of a direct flight between Prague and Hanoi, the early signing of the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement and Vietnam’s bid for a non-permanent seat at the United Nations Security Council for the 2020-2021 term.
The TV website ceskonoviny.cz quoted PM Babis as saying that all parties hope that the EVFTA will soon be signed and come into force and that he would contact the European Commission to see if the agreement could be signed and ratified ahead of the European Parliament election.
