(VOVworld) –Hundreds of Czech people have been treated to the film “Yen’s life”, the only Vietnamese film screened during the 5^th ASEAN film festival in the Prague, the Czech Republic.

Martina Mikova watched the film at Lucerna Cinema on Saturday: “This is a great film. I have never been to Vietnam and know nothing about Vietnam. Today, I watch a film about Vietnam and learn more about the life of Vietnamese people. I love Yen, the main character. She is courageous and dare to fight to protect the happiness of her family, though it is hard to do so.”

The film “Yen’s life”, directed by Dinh Tuan Vu, won 5 prizes at the 19^th Vietnam Film Festival last year. It also won the Grand Festival Prize at the World Premieres Film Festival in the Philippines in July this year.
