(VOVWORLD) - The Tourism Department of Da Nang on Wednesday announced a two-year plan to develop wedding tourism and a pilot program to lure more wedding tourists with the message “Da Nang - Where happiness begins”.

Deputy Director of the department Nguyen Thi Hoai An said that the locality is aiming to become a professional wedding tourism destination with attractive travel itineraries for couples and their guests.
“Da Nang - Where happiness begins" is a simple message conveying the beauty of the peaceful and livable Da Nang. Tourists consider Da Nang a place marking beautiful stories not only of couples but also of relatives and friends attending wedding events here,” An said.
This week, Da Nang has welcomed 20 professional and well-known wedding organizers from big cities of India such as Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Ahmedabad, and Thailand’s Bangkok.
