Da Nang launches program to attract international MICE tourists
(VOVWORLD) - Da Nang’s People's Committee has promulgated a support program to attract international MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) visitors to the city.

The program offers support in reception, communications, consulting activities for the organisation of MICE events, service discounts, and ceremonies to honor travel firms that bring visitors to Da Nang.
As soon as it was launched, the municipal Department of Tourism welcomed the first two international MICE delegations – 558 tourists from Indonesia and 138 from Malaysia.
Between February 21 and August 1, the city implemented new policies to encourage domestic MICE tourists and welcomed 31 domestic delegations numbering 15,600 tourists.
Along with the resumption of international flights and signs of growth in Southeast Asian markets like Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia, the program is expected to help restore Danang’s tourism sector.
