Da Nang tourism restructured as COVID-19 subsides
(VOVWORLD) - With the COVID-19 pandemic under control, Da Nang city’s People's Committee has created a plan to restructure local tourism till 2025, with a vision to 2030. The market for foreign tourists has been scaled down to reduce the risk of sudden decline.

Da Nang plans to introduce new tourism products, promote its inland waterways and bay and seaport accommodations, and enhance its cooperation with nearby tourist attractions in Hue city and Quang Nam province.
Director of Da Nang city’s Department of Tourism Truong Thi Hong Hanh said: “We’re following the instructions of the Prime Minister and the municipal People's Committee for anti-coronavirus measures at service and tourism establishments. The city is working with businesses to introduce new products and services.”
On Friday, Da Nang will lift its restrictions on all business establishments except for discos, bars, karoke clubs, and massage businesses. The city will continue COVID-19 measures, including wearing masks, disinfecting surfaces, maintaining distance, restricting the size of gatherings, and making health declarations, and will manage the quarantine of foreign experts and skilled workers.
