Death toll continues to rise after Italian train crash
(VOVworld) – On Tuesday evening, the death toll for a head-on collision of two passenger trains in the countryside between the towns of Corato and Andria in southern Italy had risen to 27.

Rescue workers said some of the 50 injured are in serious condition. There was no immediate indication of what had caused the accident. Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi made his way to the region to meet with rescuers and local authorities on Tuesday.
