(VOVworld) -  Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh has hailed the contributions made by Indian Ambassador Ranjit Rae to closer bilateral ties in many fields including national defense. The commendation was made on Monday at Thanh’s reception for Rea, who came to say good bye at the end of his tenure in Vietnam.

Thanh expressed his hope that the diplomat, in his new position, will continue his contributions to the development of the Vietnam-India relationship.
