Democratic National Convention closes and Hilary Clinton makes history

th Democratic National Convention concluded on Thursday in Philadelphia city, Pennsylvania State, to nominate candidates for the presidential election in November.

The Democrats officially nominated Hilary Clinton as their standard-bearer in the presidential contest on Tuesday, sealing her position as the first female nominee of a major party in US history at the Democratic national convention.
In her speech at the Convention, Ms. Clinton accepted the presidential nomination and said that she would empower all Americans to live better lives. The 2016 Democratic National Convention approved a 55-page document and worked out the party’s action plans for the coming months.
