(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese National Assembly respects the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement and is discussing an amendment roadmap to implement its commitment, according to Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, Phung Quoc Hien.

At a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday, Mr. Hien told a delegation of the US ASEAN Business Council led by its Chairman Alexander Feilman that Vietnam will host the APEC Week next year and expected the Council and US businesses to expand their operations in Vietnam on a long-term basis. Mr. Feilman praised Vietnam’s efforts to improve its business environment and pledged more efforts to boost US-Vietnam relations.
