(VOVworld) – National Assembly Deputy Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan received 106 businesses and entrepreneurs that are investing and cooperating with other ASEAN countries at a conference called “For a united and developed ASEAN community” held on Wednesday in Hanoi. Ms. Ngan said Vietnam and other ASEAN countries are pushing for the establishment of an ASEAN community to consolidate and enhance solidarity and unity within ASEAN, and promote ASEAN’s position in the world and central role in the region. She said she believes the joint efforts of the ASEAN governments and people will make the ASEAN a community of peace and development.
