(VOVworld) – Building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction were discussed at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh and Ha Tinh province’s authorities on Wednesday. Mr. Ninh expressed his delight at Ha Tinh’s high GDP growth rate in recent years and successful initiatives of new rural areas that have helped locals escape from poverty.

He asked Ha Tinh to reduplicate effective production models, seek stable output for its products, and promote scientific and technological application in production. Ninh said local authorities should pay more attention to administrative reform and investment attraction. Mr. Ninh visited several effective production models after the working session.
