(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai on Tuesday made an inspection tour of winter-spring crop and dyke system in Nam Dinh province. At a working session with local leaders, Hai applauded Nam Dinh’s achievements in building new rural areas, including merging rice fields. He urged the province to be more adaptable to climate changes and focus on developing high quality rice strains. The Deputy PM called on the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and relevant agencies to provide capital to develop rice field models, and to reconsider agriculture insurance in favor of the farmers. 

Visiting farmers in Xuan Ninh commune, Deputy PM Hai reiterated the Party and State’s incentives to help farmers’ production.
