At a meeting of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Sunday, Mr. Dam, who is also head of the Committee, urged localities to coordinate with the Ministry of Health, to soon formulate a "guideline" on epidemic prevention and control. The Deputy Prime Minister urged special attention to fast detection, tracing and testing of all cases designated by the health agency.
He said “We must always be vigilant. People must take precautions. Communications on wearing masks, washing hands with soap, and limiting contacts must be strengthened. Other effective measures include filling in electronic medical declaration and installing Bluezone and nCovy applications to quickly and effectively track people of infection risks. "
Vietnam reported no new cases of COVID-19 for the first time in more than two weeks, the Ministry of Health said on Monday morning.
By Monday morning, Vietnam confirmed a total of 841 COVID-19 cases, including 435 in treatment, and 384 cases found in the community. There have been 13 fatalities to date.
