(VOVworld)-Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc ordered the construction of an expressway connecting Da Nang and Quang Ngai on Sunday. The project  is scheduled for completion in 2017, with 4 lanes and will be upgraded to 6 lanes with designed speed of 120 km per hour. This is the first expressway in central Vietnam as well a key project of North-South national highway as it shortens travel time between central cities and provinces. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that the expressway will promote international connectivity and ensure smooth traffic flow and humanitarian aids of affected people in flood season.
