Deputy PM praises South Korea’s new visa policy for Vietnamese citizens
(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung has applauded South Korea’s new visa policy which will enable residents of Vietnam’s three big cities to stay in South Korea for up to 30 days, with no restriction on the number of visits for five years.

At a reception for South Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Kim Do Hyun on Wednesday, Mr. Dung said the new decision is based on a political trust, a strategic partnership, and good sentiment between the two countries’ leaders and peoples. He said he expects that Vietnamese residents of other localities of Vietnam will also be eligible for the five-year visa.
Ambassador Kim said the visa policy is just one step in the South Korean government’s plan to boost cooperation with Vietnam and that cooperation potential between the two countries is huge.
