The Deputy PM stressed the need to fully evaluate the development and progress of exploration technology, exploitation technology and processing technology and to exploit mineral resources in an economical and efficient manner.
“This time, infrastructure planning must solve the relations between the economy and environment. Mining is necessary but will greatly affect the environment. Therefore, the planning needs to take into account the problem of mineral exploitation to protect the environment and other green economic sectors without sacrificing people's interests and environmental benefits,” he said.
