(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised the fruitful cooperation and experience sharing between the Vietnamese and Lao Ministries of Planning and Investment, especially in attracting official development assistance (ODA), green growth, and socio-economic plans to boost sustainable development.

At a Thursday reception for Lao Minister of Planning and Investment Somdy Douangdy in Hanoi, Mr. Phuc urged Laos to support Vietnam-invested projects there, and said he hopes the two agencies will continue collaborating closely on ODA projects to boost the socio-economic growth of both nations.

Douangdy said that in recent years the Lao Ministry of Planning and Investment has worked hard to maximize Vietnam’s annual ODA and direct investment in Laos.
