At a review meeting yesterday with the steering committees of these regions, Ninh noted that there remains a big gap in education quality between regions. He said that in some provinces, the quality is still very low and does not meet national and regional development requirements. Ninh said ‘In the future, the Ministry of Education and Training should cooperate with the regions to assess the status of education and training in each province, and based on that to find out the reasons and take the necessary steps pursuant to the Party’s resolution for the sector.’
Participants also discussed specific policies and mechanisms for human resource and vocational training for the three regions.
