(VOVworld) – Vietnam Social Insurance is required to work with ministries and agencies to get the government to set allocation quotas for compulsory social insurance for workers. Vietnam has set a target of 50% of the workforce benefiting from social insurance and 35% being covered by unemployment insurance by 2020.

During a working session in Hanoi on Wednesday with Vietnam Social Insurance, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue said the sector should find ways to persuade workers to buy insurance, review, and improve the documents guiding the implementation of the revised laws on social insurance and healthcare insurance.

The same day Mr. Hue worked with the Finance Ministry on a draft law on the management and use of public assets.
