At a meeting with the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) in Hanoi, Mr. Dam urged the Council to propose policies to encourage and support waste treatment and to organize or sponsor programs to encourage people to sort their trash.
Mr. Dam praised the Council for its efforts to foster a sustainable development spirit among businesses and individuals. He asked the Council to simplify its application requirements to attract more members.
