During an online meeting on Wednesday with members of the committee and leaders of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces and Da Nang city, Mr. Dam asked the Ministry of Health to speed up licensing new, faster, and cheaper testing technology and instruct localities to use different kinds of tests appropriately.

He stressed that all localities nationwide must quickly disseminate coronavirus preventive regulations to enterprises, factories, and IPs. Regular tests should be done to ensure safe working environments. All localities are required to prepare quarantine sites and strictly implement pandemic prevention without obstructing people’s travel and business.

Vietnam has 369 IPs and nearly 30 border gates and export processing zones employing 3.8 million workers and around 700 industrial clusters employing 600,000 workers.
