Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue hailed the organization of the forum prior to harvest time to help farmers sell their products, reduce poverty, and contribute to sustainable economic development.

He asked the provincial authority to connect farmers and businesses to sell and transport litchi. “The earlier the agricultural products reach consumers, the higher benefits the sellers and buyers have. Bac Giang province should focus more on land zoning, market demand, trademarks, labelling, and packing standards. This year Bac Giang province enjoys good harvest and good prices. Especially, Thanh Ha litchi is sold at good prices because we have prepared well for consumption.”

Mr. Hue asked Bac Giang province to continue to restructure agriculture and products and apply good agricultural practices to ensure litchi quality.
