Mr. Ninh said Vietnam hopes to further boost ties with the UK in trade, investment, tourism, education, culture, finance and services, he said, while pledging to create preferential policies for British investors in Vietnam. He also expressed hope that the “Vietnam Discovery Festival” to be held in London this weekend will bring Vietnam’s landscapes and people closer to British people.

For his part, Puttnam said the UK will work hard towards the goal of becoming one of the top 10 foreign investors in Vietnam in the next two years.

The UK is the first stop of Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh’s trip to Europe from September 8-18.
