(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh received on Friday the Mexican chairwoman of the Senate Foreign Policy Commission Gabriela Cuevas Barron, during her working visit to Vietnam to attend the 132nd Inter-Parliament Union (IPU-132) Assembly.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh proposed both sides enhance high-ranking delegation exchanges to strengthen trust and promote the completion of the bilateral cooperative mechanism in the context of the two sides celebrating the 40^th anniversary of diplomatic ties. Mr Minh expected that Mexico would soon recognize Vietnam as a market economy and resist protection barriers in the two nations’ trade relationship.
