(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh discussed socio-economic development, external relations, and border delineation and marker planting in Gia Lai with provincial authorities on Tuesday.

The visit was part of his tour of the central highlands region. He praised the province’s achievements in these areas and said that it should continue to expand all-round cooperation with Cambodia’s Ratanakiri border province. The same day, Mr. Minh inspected border delineation and marker planting and national defense in the border district of Duc Co. He praised efforts by the Le Thanh international border checkpoint to ensure border security, contributing to building a border of friendship with Cambodia and strengthening border defense cooperation and solidarity between the two countries.
