(VOVworld) - Vietnam and Malaysia are targeting 15 billion USD in two-way trade by 2020, Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Cao Phong told a dialogue in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.

Phong said the dialogue with 20 Malaysian firms which import agro-forestry-fisheries, iron, and steel products from Vietnam aims to gather feedback on that goal.

Participants praised the Vietnamese government’s policies and put forward proposals to increase Vietnam’s exports, including increase of marketing campaigns at home and abroad, building brands, and improving the shelf-life of farm produce.
