(VOVworld)- On Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc inspected the preparations for the upcoming election of the NA and People’s Councils in Dien Bien province.

At a meeting with local authorities, Phuc, who is also Vice President of the National Electoral Council, stressed the importance of preparing complete documents and lists of nominated candidates and collecting the people’s opinions. He said information about the election should be easy-to-understand and close to the people. Phuc said he believed Dien Bien province would take the lead in the north in preparing for the election.
