(VOVworld) – Domestic media agencies should step up communications on the judicial reform strategy and government conclusions on continuing to implement the strategy until 2020.

Stepping up communications – key to successfully implementing the judicial reforms

Le Thi Thu Ba, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform, made the statement at Tuesday’s meeting to debate measures to carry out a plan to boost communications on judicial reforms. She noted the greater involvement of media agencies will help improve the awareness of people, civil servants, and party members regarding the reforms.

Since the strategy was launched 9 years ago, Vietnam’s judiciary has greatly improved. Its legal system has been improved and investigation, prosecutions, judgments, and executions have been conducted strictly and democratically. Regulations of civil, economic, and commercial relations, compensations, and refunding has been improved, contributing to the country’s socio-economic development and international integration.
