It’s estimated that the number of domestic tourists in 11 months of this year may reach 35 million, generating a revenue of 7.3 billion USD.
Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh said domestic tourism has recovered and Lao Cai, Hanoi, and Khanh Hoa are taking the lead in attracting visitors.
The government’s policy of safe and effective adaptation to COVID-19 and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism’s temporary regulations to welcome visitors have enabled localities and businesses to boost tourism activities.
