(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Minister-Counselor in Russia Nguyen Hung donated 5,000 USD to Vietnamese nationals affected by the Admiral Trade Centre fire in Kazan city in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.
The Vietnam Embassy in Russia launched a fundraising campaign among its staff and OVs across the country to help affected expats in Kazan.
At the ceremony, Hung said he hoped Vietnamese community will soon resume their daily life.
Although no casualties were reported, the March fire caused huge property damage adversely affecting a number of Vietnamese nationals, 90 of whom lost their stores.
