The festival honors the mango industry and also promotes tourism, and cultural and economic values.

There will be an event introducing mango products, the program "One commune one product" (OCOP), and other specialties typical of Dong Thap.

A workshop on the value and sustainable development of the mango industry and the launch of the Dong Thap Mango Association will be held during the festival.

Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Huu Dung told a press conference on Wednesday in Cao Lanh City, “The festival aims to connect with companies to promote production and business, and draw the attention of investors in the processing and export of mangoes. This is an opportunity to promote the brand of our province to domestic and foreign consumers.”
