(VOVworld) – Thousands of visitors have flocked to Dong Van stone plateau in the northern province of Ha Giang during the 5-day holiday.

The plateau has been redecorated and cleaned up to welcome tourists thanks to hundreds of youth union members in the area.  Foreigners accounted for one third of the visitors to the plateau. In Dong Van, tourists can enjoy the imposing scenery of the stone plateau and are treated to panpipe performances by Mong ethnic people as well as take part in traditional folk games and festivals of local ethnic people. Other tourist destinations in the province include the Lung Cu flag pole, Dong Van ancient street, abd Na Pi Leng pass.
