(VOVworld) – North Korea has criticized South Korea for its recent test firing of a ballistic missile which it claimed was targeting the North. The Koran Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a spokesman for the Strategic Force of the Korean People's Army (KPA) as accusing Seoul of “using arms provided by outside forces to hurt the fellow countrymen”. The statement stressed that North Korea’s efforts to enhance its defense capability and boost its economic growth is a proper policy.
South Korea on Tuesday successfully test-fired its first ballistic missile, codenamed Hyunmoo-2B, with a range of 500km. The missile test was conducted by the South Korean Defense Development Agency, under the observance of President Park Geun-hye.
