DPRK ready to resume 6-party talks
DPRK ambassador to the UN So Se Pyong
(VOVworld) – Pyongyang is ready to resume the 6-party talks on denuclearization on the Korean peninsula, said So Se Pyong, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) ambassador to the UN in Geneva on Thursday. He added that no missile tests were planned but maintained Pyongyang’s readiness in the face of joint US-South Korean military exercises. He said DPRK will deploy countermeasures to any military activities targeting the country.
So Se Pyong had held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on Thursday over the issue.
