(VOVworld) - The Election Council of Vung Tau city in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province on Monday organised early voting for deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels at polling station No. 12 for military officers who are poised for sea duty.

Polling station No. 12 serves more than 1,500 voters who are officers of Naval Brigade 171, Battalion DK1, Fisheries Resource Surveillance Platoon No.2 and several units of the High Command of Naval Region 2.  More than 100 officers have voted at the polling station, which will remain open until May 21.

With the support of the navy, early elections will be organised at 47 locations from central Binh Thuan province to southernmost Ca Mau province. The main election day is May 22.
