At a press conference in Juba, Joyce Luma, the UN World Food Program (WFP) Representative and Country Director in South Sudan, said the money was channeled through the WFP, adding that the African Union (AU) has provided 32 million USD to humanitarian aid in South Sudan this year. Luma said South Sudan needs international support, which is combined with unimpeded access to the affected people.
