Economic development attached to national defense in key areas
(VOVworld) – Socio-economic development must be closely attached to reinforcing security and defense in key areas especially in the Northwestern, Central highlands and Southwestern regions.

At a working session with the government on Friday in Hanoi, the supervisory mission of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee proposed to boost supervisory activities and some measures to raise the efficiency of policies and laws on economic development while boosting national defense in major areas of the country. Nguyen Kim Khoa is Head of the supervisory mission: “It is a broad issue which requires the cooperation of different areas of the country. We need to focus on some major areas including the Central highlands, Northwestern and Southwestern regions. It is necessary to supervise key sectors and today’s urgent issues, as well as develop strategies for the future”.
