(VOVworld) – The deadline for reaching a final deal on Iran’s nuclear program is close, said EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini at a press conference following negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group in Vienna over the past 9 days.

Ms. Mogherini said the negotiations had taken place in a positive and constructive spirit. US Secretary of State John Kerry said the parties have made progress despite some differences. The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif expressed his optimism at the deadline of July 7^th for the negotiations but said there still remained differences between Iran and the P5+1.
