(VOVworld) – Egypt has been hit by violence and profound division since frantic protests was erupted a year ago that forced the army to overthrow President Mohamed Morsi. Major protesters on June 30th last year announced that they will not join the celebration, saying the foremost task is recovering Egypt. Several political forces also refused to celebrate this anniversary.

In another development, on Monday, the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy led by the Muslim Brotherhood who backs ousted Morsi, called for a fresh uprising on Thursday, exactly one year after the political upheaval.
