(VOVworld) -  Egyptian media reported Tuesday that Egypt and Sudan are concerned over modifications to the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and will officially demand construction plan details.

Senior governmental sources in charge of the Renaissance Dam construction said Ethiopia modified the construction standards of the dam to increase the rate of generated electricity. The French firm which is carrying out the projects has already started work on hydraulic and environmental reports. An international committee gathering experts from the three countries will convene in March in Cairo to discuss preliminary reports prepared by the consulting office, as well as the studies it has received from the three countries.
