(VOVworld) - Egyptian television on Tuesday broadcast live the first session of ousted president Mohamed Morsi's trial. This is Morsi’s first court session to have been broadcast live and the second time he appeared in public since he was dismissed from the office last July.
In Tuesday’s hearing, Morsi and 130 other defendants of the Muslim Brotherhood face charges of cooperating with Palestinian resistance movement Hamas and Lebanese militant faction Hezbollah to break out prison, kidnapping, and killing police officers during Egypt's 2011 uprising.
