(VOVworld)- The Muslim Brotherhood on Wednesday failed to reverse a September verdict of an Egyptian court. The verdict prohibits any activity of the movement as a non-governmental organization (NGO) and blocks the MB’s assets. According to Egyptian official news agency MENA, in the Wednesday trial, the Cairo Emergency Court of Appeals rejected that MB’s appeal application. This latest development is a strong blow to the leading political movement in Egypt. In response, MB lawyer Faisal el-Sayyed said the Muslim Brotherhood will continue to appeal until it succeeds.
