(VOVworld)-The Egyptians go to the polls on Saturday in their presidential run-off between Muslim Brotherhood's Mohamed Morsi and former Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq, just two days after the newly-elected lower house of parliament was ruled unconstitutional and void by court.

Some 50 million voters will cast ballots in 13,000 booths during the 2-day election. 400,000 police and military officers have been mobilized to ensure security. The new president will be announced next Thursday and the military will transfer power on June 30th.
